SEO Article Submission Strategy That Pulls Em In Like A Magnet

Using special software for SEO article submission is a mistake, as far as I am concerned. To start with, because of the sudden and unnatural growth of back links that will result from this kind of submission, leading search engines are highly likely to penalize you. Secondly I find it difficult to locate any other word to describe automated submission other than that dreaded dirty four letter “S” word; SPAM.

There is another much better way to accumulate tens of thousands of back links and there is no software involved. It is manual SEO article submission and it should not take you more than 10 minutes to finish all the posting you will ever need to do for a promotional article.

Usually I post my SEO articles to only three article directories and then I sit back and let the viral effect take over. The first article directory I post to has the highest traffic out of all directories on the web and many of the folks who come calling here are looking for quality content for their ezines or email newsletters as well as their web sites. The reason why I post to the second one is because of its’ amazingly large syndication program where all articles are fed through its’ syndication network thus giving them a lot of extra exposure. The third directory’s strength is the speed at which other sites link to articles posted in this particular directory.

For my SEO article submission strategy to work, the first thing is that the article needs to be as interesting and useful as possible. This is what some people call a “link bait article.”

When I have an exceptionally good SEO article, I will give it extra publicity by linking to it from one of those high traffic social networking sites like Digg.com. This has two highly desirable outcomes. Firstly I get a link pointing at my site from a very high page rank site (social networking sites usually have very high page ranks). Over time this helps dramatically improve my sites’ Google Page Rank (PR) and therefore my traffic from search engines for the keywords I use. Secondly depending on how you present it, it is possible for your posting at a social networking site to get the kind of attention that can result in huge direct traffic for your article and site.

It is no exaggeration that the ideal SEO article submission will result in tons of traffic.
